The Department offers programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It seeks outstanding candidates for faculty posts at all levels (Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor). Further information about the Department is available at http://www.ee.cuhk.edu.hk/.
Applicants should have a PhD degree and an established track record in electronic engineering. Preference will be given to candidates in Wireless Communications and Sensing Systems (including high frequency electromagnetic theory, microwave antenna, component, and circuit technologies), Terahertz Technology and Photonics.
The appointees will (a) undertake teaching; and (b) establish a world class research group in his/her area of expertise.
Appointments will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2016, which, subject to mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later.
Outstanding candidates with substantial experience for Professor rank may be considered for substantive appointment forthwith.
Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a contract-end gratuity for appointments of two years or longer and housing benefits for eligible appointees.
